Tsunami’s Student Of The Year Awards & Festive Celebration
In a night filled with joy, pride, and festive cheer, Tsunami Taekwondo gathered to celebrate excellence at the annual Student of the Year Awards and Festive Celebration. The event not only marked the achievements of standout students but also showcased the unity and camaraderie within the Tsunami family.
The evening commenced with a special presentation for white belt beginners who had recently undertaken their inaugural grading. These enthusiastic students were awarded the white belt with a yellow tag, symbolizing their first step towards the coveted black belt. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the ceremony witnessed the culmination of a remarkable journey for two students, Josiah and Sergio, who were bestowed with their well-deserved 1st Dan black belt after successfully navigating an epic and unforgettable 1st Dan grading under the guidance of Master Alex.
A total of eight students were crowned Student of the Year in various categories based on age and grade, each recognized for their exceptional dedication, spirit, and achievements throughout the year. Runners-up in each category were also acknowledged, adding to the spirit of healthy competition and mutual support within the Tsunami community.
Following the heartwarming awards ceremony, the stage was cleared, and chairs were rearranged to create the perfect setting for a festive night. The celebration continued with delectable food, lively music, and spirited dancing, as Tsunami Taekwondo members enjoyed a memorable evening together.
